Dear friends of our Festival:
From the Organization of the Festival we have detected that this year Sitges will be very crowded during our festival. Consequently, accommodation prices are more expensive than normally. In order to prevent any of you stop participating in this very special edition of our Twentieth Anniversary because of the high accommodation prices, we have been looking for alternatives of cheap accommodation. This is up the moment the satisfactory result of our search. Very probably in the coming days we will announce more results. We hope that this information will be useful for you...! Options of accommodation in Sitges:
Option 1
APARTMENTS AMAPOLA (belonging to Hotel Sunway group):
Located in the exclusive neighborhood of Vinyet, very near the beach and at 1 Km. aprox from city center. They offer for free -with a deposit to be returned- a bicycle for person (something very practical to go to classes, to the beach, to the tanguero afterhour, etc…). The complex has two pools and a big garden. Apartments for 4 people (One room with tween beds + a líving room with two individual sofa bed + kitchen + bath + all type of utensils and appliances).
Price for each apartament for 5 days (minimum stay required): 696 €.
It means 35 € aprox. for person and day (occupancy of 4 people).

Hotels CELIMAR and CELIMAR CENTER
Perfectly located in the centre of Sitges (the first of them is located on seafront) and with all facilities of 3 stars hotels. They offer to all participants of our festival a 10% discount over their official prices if the booking is made directly with the hotels and you indicate that you are participants of the festival.

Options of very cheap accommodation in Vilanova i La Geltrú
For those who want to spend less on accommodation the organizers of Festival have achieved two options very cheap in Vilanova i La Geltrú.
Vilanova is located at 7 Km. south of Sitges. Both places are connected during the day by a very freqüent service of train. It takes only 6 minutes to go from one place to the other with only one stop. (See traint times in www.renfe.com section Cercanías - Barcelona). To go and return to the night milongas the festival will provide a service of bus transfer (at the same price that the Sitges one). With a minimum of 20 people housed in Vilanova, we ensure two frequencies go/return for this service among milongas (Masia Vilanoveta) and bus station/train of Vilanova. Next to this station are both accommodation suggested. Anyway, we inform you that night taxi price among the Masía Vilanoveta and Vilanova i La Geltrú is less than 10 € because the distance is very short.

UNIVERSITY RESIDENCE OF VILANOVA
Offers nice double apartments, perfectly equipped (kitchen, fridge, air conditioning, etc…)

HOSTAL CAN GATELL (2 Stars).
This nice and confortable hotel, located beside the University Residence and only 100 m. from train and bus station of Vilanova, offers double rooms and single rooms with different prices depending if the room has or not air conditioning. The hostel management offers a discount of 10 % for the participants to our festival, if the booking is made directly with the hotel and you indicate that you are participants of the festival.
These are the final prices (including taxes and the 10% of discount):
- Single room (with ceiling fan): 37´08 € / day
- Single room (with air conditioning): 46´89 € / day
- Double room (with ceiling fan): 53´40 € / day
- Double room (with air conditioning): 63´18 € / day
The Can Gatell Hotel has a good restaurant and their prices of accommodation with half board or full board are also very interesting. You can check directly with them.
